As with many other helis on the market the E Flite Blade 400 3D and Twister Storm 3D are not quite identical twins. Many parts are directly interchangeable but a few arent. The advantage of knowing all this is some parts are priced differently while being functionally identical while others can be more easily obtainable at times depending on supply.

Parts that arent compatible:
Motor mount
Main frames (unless you change the motor mount)
Battery and ESC (different connectors)
Tail rotor pitch mechanism (slider and arm)

Parts that are functionally the same but made differently:
Feather shaft (Blades uses screws ,Twister uses nuts)
Tail servo mounts (use 2 Twister mounts)
Tail pitch linkage rod (Twister is shorter and non adjustable use with above)

Parts that are the same:
Pretty much everything else

For what its worth my Blade 400 uses Twister tail servo mounts and linkage, Twister tail fins (GF) and Twister landing struts (I reckon black looks better than white).

Twister tail booms seem to be sold individually for the same price as a pair of Blade booms ~ identical except colour. Personally I think you are better off with the CF one ~ double the price but doesnt bend if you sneeze on it.

Some people reckon Twister feather shafts break rather than bend which means you can loose the bits ~ I have had about 6 bend and only one break......

Both types of wood blades are rubbish ~ use Align or similar for a significant increase in performance.

Twister tail pitch mechanism uses a ball and socket type system whereas the Blade uses a pin and spool setup. Twister type may be better (?) but it is also double the price.

T Rex 450 fiberglass canopies just need 2 small holes drilled to fit straight on and last better than the original plastic jobs.
